If you're in the drain cleaning business, that's the best show in the world - literally.
Some years ago I wote an article for Cleaner about utilizing tradeshows. If you (or anyone else) would like to give it a quick read, here's a link
15 Tradeshow Tips (http://drainbiz.blogspot.com/2008/01/15-tradeshow-tips.html)I'm not into nothing there but to go to Kentucky and just get away :happydance::party-on:Somebody youtube it! for us disabled folks eh?
I'll pay a fee for it......just would like to see the content of the show, the tables/booths/instruction.I did'nt think they had sewer drains in Kentucky!http://www.ridgidforum.com/forum/images/icons/icon7.gif:have-fun:I'm on My way in My Cessna , Book it Dannoyou never know, I just might show up :D
"No" I`m not going to bring the Boat ;)It really is a great show for drain cleaning. Every camera manufacturer is there along with all our competitors in the drain cleaning product business.
And if your in to pumper trucks and porta potties then you'll be in heaven.
Joshis there a web site for the showIf you like sea food then Mike Linnigs is the best place in the area. Plenty of cold beer or mixed drinks for those who care to abide.i'm goingplan on meeting at the ridgid booth with all the guys and get a group photo with josh. we didi it this last summer at the los angeles/ long beach phcc show.

who wants to do thisthanks for the feed back ill hope to run into some of the guys therethe first and last one i went to was in tenn. about 5 years ago.
the show is more geared towards the large municipalities and waste haulers. sure there is plumbing stuff, but you can find that at your local show.
if you want the big toys, this is your show.
since this is your first go at it. my suggestion is to bring lots of cash:eek:
wait until you buy food at these convention halls.
greg/ drain medic is going and i think ben/ gear junkie is too.
greg has been there done that. see what he has to say.
almost forgot.
josh/ (this forum administrator) will be there:thumbup2: introduce yourself to him and you never know what he might hand you:poke:

Its my Graceland :jumping:I did'nt think they had sewer drains in Kentucky!http://www.ridgidforum.com/forum/images/icons/icon7.gif:have-fun: There aint none that I have seen. We use the pumper trucks ta empty the out houses!:DI have made a last minute decision to attend the show as some of you know.
Does anyone know if I can still get involved in the coursework offered at the show. Also, I will be able to register at the door right?tickets are $40 for the three days if you but a head of time or $60 i think at the door. Give them a call. they are very helpful 800 257 7222I know I was hyped up on going but I think I'm passing on this one. The phcc show in atlanta is close enough where that one is a definite. My wif's parents only live an hour away so she told me we were going to the Atlanta show. Lucky(napolean dynamite voice)We'll have to plan dinner some evening outside of the show so we can include some of the members that don't attend the show if their interested.
So does anyone know of a good place to eat in the area?
Joshi agree friday night sounds the best to me alsoI will be there. Haven't missed one in 5 years. It is a great place to shop for equipment.
Most of my business is septic system work, so there is lots there for me. They have 3 days of education seminars. A job I did is going to be featured as the topic of one of the seminars at this years show. It was a large onsite septic system for a 58 lot subdivision. I am looking forward to attending that one this year.Agreed. We will set up some time to meet. Just gotta get a bit closer to the date.
Rick, ya just had to walk into the hotel a bit and you woulda found all kinds of reasonably priced resteraunts. I agree the sandwiches they sold were a bit overpriced. The Chick Fila was nice though :DThanks! That is helpful.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
