TN govt. had given call for TN bandh on 1st Oct.2007. Bur the AIDMK filed writ petition against call of bandh by DMK.The writ petition was heard by Special Bench of SC on Sunday and ordered that the Bandh should not be held. In spite of that directly or indirectly TN was kept bandh. Now the contempt proceeding are likely to be drawn by AIDMK against president of the DMK party.
The SC has desired that the Union Govt should proclaim President's Rule in
TN. What is wrong in it. When one disregards the order of the court and commits mischief by disobeying the orders the drastic action ought to be taken against such state when the ruling party is claiming such bandh. The President's rule should be proclaimed and the Assembly should be kept in animation for at least 6 months. How ever I&B Minister has refused to accept the suggestion given by SC. This was declared by him on behalf of the govt.

The comrades say that it is interference by the judiciary in the administration of the legislature. Why the speaker should feel sorry if the members of the Houses does not work and create HO-Halla in elective bodies. It is also their right. Which party is maintaining decorum in the Houses. Those who are in opposition are playing the same role.

When Rajeev Gandhi was Prime Minister he ,in order to encounter the bandh ,arranged the lodging and boarding for those employees who would like to work. But the same Congress arrange bandh in those states in which it is in opposition.

Now a days bandh, mob justice,lynching justice and media justice are playing active role and they are undermining the rule of law. Things are not normal and see that if such state of affairs continues then there would be Military Rule in the nation and the politicians,general public and the media would be responsible for such killing of democracy, They should know their limits that is Laxman Rekha. They all also bound by law and not above Constitution of India. They should feel ashamed when they assault the independence of Indian Judiciary which is best in the world. Beware that democracy may not be killed at these elements.
