  • In a hit test is there a way I can name the symbol as appose to the instance name?


  • You could give the new MC the same instance name as your removed MC, then you wouldn't have to modify any hitTests.

  • As an alternate way to make a hit test work for the orignial and all instances duplicated afterwards of a mc other than using code, which I'll have to modify too much of what I've alrady wrote.

  • No, you need to use the instance name.

    Why do you ask? There may be a way to do what you want.
