I need to know what the front of Sony's MZ-N707 MiniDisc player is
made from. Can anyone give a definite answer? I think I know the
answer, but I need some authoratitive evidence.P.S. In the title, it should say MZ-N707, not MZ-N70.I apologize for omitting the link for the Sony site that I quoted:
"MZ-N707...
Aluminium Upper Lid"
Sony

~pinkfreudThe front of the Sony MZ-N707 is aluminum.
In the alt.audio.minidisc newsgroup, I found this post:
"The MZ-N707 is half aluminium but the bottom side is plastic..."

That the front of the MZ-N707 is aluminum is confirmed by these retailers:
Aluminium Main Body with a plastic back panel
"Sony MZN707 Net MD Minidisc Walkman (Silver)...
Aluminium Main Body with a plastic back panel"
Electronics Online UK

"The MZN707 minidisc recorder...
Aluminium Main Body with a plastic back panel"
AV-Land
http://avland.co.uk/sony/mzn707/
Finally, the best reference source of all -- one of Sony's own sites:
"MZ-N707...
Aluminium Upper Lid"
(Note that the British spelling of "aluminum" is "aluminium.")
Google search strategy:
Google Web Search: "mz-n707" + "sony" + "aluminum OR aluminium"
I hope this helps! If anything is unclear, or if a link doesn't work
for you, please request clarification; I'll be glad to offer further
assistance before you rate my answer.
Best regards,
